Wesley Louden Borland (born February 7, ) is an American rock musician. He is the guitarist and backing vocalist of the nu metal band Limp Bizkit, the lead vocalist and guitarist of the alternative and industrial rock band Black Light Burns, and the co-founder of the experimental metal band Big Dumb Face.

Borland gained popularity when Limp Bizkit achieved mainstream success in the late s and early s. He formed Big Dumb Face with his brother Scott in and left Limp Bizkit in to start side projects including Eat the Day and The Damning Well. After rejoining Limp Bizkit in , Borland founded Black Light Burns, with whom he has released three studio albums and a covers album. Limp Bizkit went on hiatus following the release of their album The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) (). However, the band's original lineup reunited in and recorded their fifth studio album, Gold Cobra (). In , Borland released his solo album Crystal Machete.

On February 7, , Wes Borland was born in Nashville, Tennessee. He grew up there and got his first guitar when he was 12 years old. Wes really wanted to play drums, but his parents refused to let him get a drum kit, so he started playing guitar. He was offered several guitar classes, which included blues, country, and fingerpicking. Since Wes has been anti-country his entire life, he chose blues as his guitar class.

When Wes was a child and a teenager, he listened to Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Metallica, Minor Threat, and Testament. Wes was forced to move to Florida because his father, a Presbyterian minister at a church in Nashville, got transferred to a church in Florida.

There, Wes really got into the guitar, and he was offered 2 jazz classes and he took jazz for 3 years at a university in Jacksonville.

In every band Wes has been in, he has been the singer and guitarist. He had a band at his dad's church that played light rock blues.
